What is a designated office?
As a business establishment that performs work that is recognized as having a high probability of causing pollution by generating smoke, dust, odor, drainage, noise or vibration, the Ordinance for Enforcement of the Ordinance on conservation, etc. in Yokohama City Living Environment (hereinafter referred to as the “Enforcement Regulations”). ) The facilities (designated facilities) specified in Appendix No. 1 (PDF: 222KB) and perform work (designated work).

<Preliminary consultation>
- Please consult us in advance to organize the information necessary for application and notification.
- The procedure may take a few days, so please consult with plenty of time when the plan for equipment etc. is generally decided.

<Notification / Application>

When we are going to establish designated establishment (the regulations Article 3)

- Time: Up to 35 days before the start of installation work (cannot be installed without permission to install)
When a business establishment that has already been approved by a designated business establishment intends to make important changes in pollution prevention (Ordinance Article 8)
- Form:Change permission application pertaining to designated establishment (sixth style others) (word: 96KB)
- Time: Up to 35 days before the start of the change construction (change construction is not possible without permission to change)
