What is the ordinance concerning the conservation of Living Environment?

Basic regulations (outside site) about conservation of Yokohama-shi environment and creation (Yokohama-shi regulations 17th March, 1995. Hereinafter referred to as the “Basic Ordinance”. ), Regulations on the establishment of business establishments, measures for the conservation of the environment in business activities and daily life, and other matters necessary to reduce the burden on the environment. The purpose is to preserve the healthy and cultural living environment of citizens of present and future generations.

What is a designated office?As a business establishment that performs work that is recognized as having a high probability of causing pollution by generating smoke exhaust, dust, odor, drainage, noise or vibration, the ordinance enforcement regulations on the conservation of Yokohama City living environment (hereinafter referred to as the "Enforcement Regulations") We place facility (designated facility) to prescribe in separate table 1 (PDF: 222KB) and perform work (designated work).
