Outline of Revision
A Cabinet Order amending a part of the Noise Control Law Enforcement Order and the Vibration Control Law came into force on December 1, 2022.
Noise
Regarding air compressors specified in Appendix 1 of the Enforcement Ordinance of the Noise Control Law, those designated by the Minister of the Environment as not generating noise exceeding a certain limit will be excluded from regulation.

Vibration
Regarding the requirements for compressors specified in Appendix 1 of the Ordinance for Enforcement of the Vibration Regulation Law, those specified by the Minister of the Environment as not generating vibration exceeding a certain limit will be excluded from regulation.

The "Notification of Determining Compressors Designated by the Minister of the Environment as not to generate vibration exceeding a certain limit" and the "Regulations on Designation of Low Vibration Compressors" came into effect on December 1, 2022, which stipulated specifications for compressors not subject to regulation.

Designation of low-vibration compressor
Low vibration compressors specified by the Ministry of the Environment are not subject to the Vibration Regulation Law.
