Outline of the revision
A Cabinet Order amending a part of the Noise Control Law Enforcement Order and the Vibration Control Law Enforcement Order came into effect on December 1, 2022.
Noise
Regarding the air compressors specified in Appendix 1 of the Enforcement Order of the Noise Control Law, those designated by the Minister of the Environment as not generating noise exceeding a certain limit will be excluded from the regulation.

Vibration
Regarding the requirements of the compressor specified in Appendix 1 of the Enforcement Order of the Vibration Regulation Law, those designated by the Minister of the Environment as not generating vibration exceeding a certain limit will be excluded.

"Notifications for compressors designated by the Minister of the Environment as not generating vibration exceeding a certain limit" and "Rules for Designation of Low Vibration Compressors", which stipulate the specifications of compressors that are not subject to regulation, came into effect on December 1, 2022.

Low-vibration compressors designated by the Ministry of the Environment are not subject to the Vibration Regulation Law.

About report about low-vibration compressor which has been notified as specific facility
In accordance with the Ministry of the Environment's designation of a low-vibration compressor model, Yokohama City will report to factories or business establishments that have reported compressors based on the Vibration Regulation Law on reported specific facilities that no longer fall under specific facilities.
