Procedures based on environmental laws and regulations (related to construction)

When performing construction, it may be necessary to submit a report / application based on environmental laws and regulations depending on the content.
<Preliminary consultation>

• Please consult in advance to organize the information necessary for notification and application.
• The procedure may take a few days, so please consult with plenty of time when the plan for equipment etc. is generally decided.

<Requirements that require notification>

• When removing sprayed asbestos, heat insulating material containing asbestos, heat insulating material and fire-resistant coating material.

<Requirements that require reporting>

• Regardless of the presence or absence of asbestos, if any of the following applies:

1. Demolition of buildings (floor area of 80 square meters or more for demolition work)
2. Renovation of buildings (contracted amount of 1 million yen or more (tax included))
3. Demolition and renovation work of structures (contracted amount of 1 million yen or more (tax included))
4. Demolition and renovation of steel vessels (total tonnage of 20 tons or more)
