Measures in the event of an accident

Persons who use public sewerage by eliminating sewage from specific business establishments may cause an accident in which harmful substances such as cyanide or oil that may cause damage to human health or living environment, flows into the public sewer. In such cases, emergency measures must be taken immediately and promptly notify the public sewer administrator (The Mayor of Yokohama). In addition, the public sewer manager (The Mayor of Yokohama) may order that emergency measures be taken when a person who uses the public sewer by removing sewage from a specific business site finds that no emergency measures have been taken. It is supposed to be. Penalties may apply to those who violate these measures orders (Article 46-2).
Substances subject to action in the event of an accident are as follows:
