Guidance on countermeasures against groundwater pollution

Yokohama City provides guidance to persons responsible for groundwater contamination in accordance with the Ordinance on conservation, etc. of Yokohama City Living Environment (hereinafter referred to as the “Ordinance”).

Notification of Groundwater Pollution Countermeasures

Persons who conduct business or conduct business on land that is deemed to be the cause of groundwater pollution should conduct a survey on the cause of groundwater pollution based on Article 61-2 of the Ordinance. May be instructed. In that case, we will endeavor to notify Yokohama City of a report on the cause of groundwater contamination.
In addition, based on Article 61-3 of the Ordinance, measures must be taken to purify the water quality of groundwater, in which case, it is necessary to submit a groundwater purification measure result report to Yokohama City.

Notification style

In principle, all administrative documents such as the registration form are subject to disclosure. Please read "Handling of Administrative Documents Associated with Information Disclosure System" before creating the registration form.

Groundwater purification standards

The ordinance enforcement regulations separate table No. 15 (outside site) stipulates groundwater purification standards for underground infiltration prohibited substances. For points that exceed the groundwater purification standards, we provide guidance to persons responsible for pollution based on the ordinance.
