Handling of administrative documents accompanying the information disclosure system

Yokohama City enacted the "Regulations on Disclosure of Information Held by Yokohama City" in February 2000, specifying respect for citizens' rights to know and the responsibilities of explaining the city's municipal administration, and also guarantees the right to seek disclosure of administrative documents.
In principle, all administrative documents such as registration form are requested to disclose in accordance with the Soil Contamination Countermeasures Law and the conservation of Yokohama City Living Environment, etc. are requested to be disclosed in principle.
However, the following information, such as information that identifies a specific individual, may not be disclosed.

• Information that cannot be made public due to laws and regulations
• Information about an individual that can identify a specific individual (individual name, personal Address, seal impression, personal seal, etc.)
• Information about a corporation that may harm the legitimate interests of the corporation (name of the business partner, company know-how, etc.)
• Information that may interfere with the protection of human life and property or the safety of public safety (such as seal impression of Personal registered seal, seal impression of the corporate representative company, storage location for chemicals, etc.)
• Information on deliberations, examinations, or consultations that may unduly impair the neutrality of decision-making or unfairly cause confusion or disadvantage to citizens
• Information that may interfere with proper execution such as office work in the city

In preparing the registration form, we may not disclose any information that could harm the rights of a corporation or individual, competitive position, or other legitimate interests by being disclosed, so please create a registration form clearly stating the parts to be kept private. Pay particular attention to patent information, building drawings, etc. that contain technical know-how, such as patent information and building drawings.
