As a paramedic training center according to Article 34, item 4 of the Paramedics Act (1991 Law No. 36), based on the rules for paramedics school training schools (Ministry of Education and Ministry of Health and Welfare Ordinance No. 2 of 1991) , Was designated by the Minister of Health and Welfare on August 28, 1991.

The maintenance and operation of the facility is carried out by the Fire Bureau Emergency Guidance Division.

• In the same year, the Yokohama City Paramedics Training Center was built on the premises of the Minami fire department Nakamuramachi Fire Branch Office, located at 4-274-8Fire Academy.
• In the old school building, training for a total of 17th term paramedics training was conducted for 14 years from 1991 to 2004.
• Due to the aging of the old school building, the current school building was completed on December 10, 2004, and education has been conducted in the current school building since April 2005.

In addition to training paramedics training, we provide a wide range of emergency-related education, such as training for guidance rescuers and skill improvement education.
