Yokohama City Fire Music Band
Yokohama City Fire Music Band was established in 1958 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the opening of Yokohama Port and the 70th anniversary of the municipal organization.
In order to realize "Yokohama, a city where people can feel safe and secure," we conduct publicity activities through performances and performances in various parts of the city.
Currently, our bases are located in the Yokohama Disaster Risk Reduction Learning Center (outside site) and regularly holds “Disaster Prevention Contact Concerts” and various concerts and events.
Port angels 119
Port Angels 119 was born in 1982 as Japan's first "female drill team that can also perform", and this nickname was named by public recruitment in 1983 and has been widely known to date.

・Yokohama City Fire Music Band CD sales
Yokohama City Fire Music Band released a CD in December 2008 as a project to commemorate the 50th anniversary of its founding and the 150th anniversary of the opening of Yokohama Port.
Currently, it is sold via export (in the Yokohama Osanbashi International Passenger Ship Terminal) and mail order "Made in Yokohama (outside site)".

Mr. Akio Adachi
Greetings from the appointment of the music director
It is Adachi who became the leader of the Yokohama City Fire Music Band since 2024. Two years ago, he was hired as a conductor of the Yokohama City Fire Music Band, and in his third year of recruitment, he was able to play such a role. Before becoming a conductor of the music band, he worked as a music teacher at Yokohama City High School for 27 years and Vice President Hazama for 6 years. In the first year of recruitment, I was surprised and confused by the completely different work environment, but with the help of everyone around me, I felt that last year I was finally able to adapt myself to my current position last year.
I think that the primary mission of the firefighting music band is to publicize firefighting through music and to foster citizens' awareness of disaster prevention. I would like to continue performing daily activities without forgetting this important mission, and at the same time, I would like to work harder to create a performance that can give courage and energy to everyone who listens. .
I hope you will continue to meet you in various situations in the future, and I would be grateful if you could give me warm encouragement. Thank you very much for your cooperation.

♩In fiscal 2020, we solicited original theme songs with the aim of making it more widely known to citizens.
Many works were delivered to the Fire Music Band, but as a result of strict examination, it was decided to be "Bon Voyage" composed by Kei Sato.
We will further raise awareness by linking it with "theme song" = "firefighting music band", and carry out effective fire prevention and disaster prevention publicity with the aim of becoming a more familiar and friendly music band.
