Overview

  • Start of use April 1, 1982
  • Place 3-2, Fukuura, Kanazawa-ku, Yokohama-shi
  • Site area: 28,800 square meters

Airfield Land Heliport (non-public use)

  • Landing zone length 48m x width 36m
  • Runway length 42m x width 30m
  • Induction path length 25m x width 9m
  • Apron length 160m x width 45.5m
  • Runway strength 9 tons
  • Wind direction wind speed

                   Summer: Southwest wind
                   Winter: About 5m/sec in northwest wind

A total of 60 air lighting equipment (77 lights)

  • Breakdown: 1 airfield lighthouse (1 light)
  • Twelve boundary lights (12 lights);
  • 6 boundary guide lights (6 lights),
  • 34 guide lights (34 lights);
  • Two aviation obstructive lights (two lights),
  • 1 wind direction light (4 lights),
  • 4 apron lighting lights (18 lights)

Automatic shutter

Shutters with remote control (with TV camera and intercom) at the entrance of the approach road

Outer-peripheral warning equipment

Others

Access: The tunnel (21m long x 7m wide) and the seaside buffer zone (349.2m long x 10m wide and 3,492m2 area) are used by Fire Bureau in Port and Harbor Bureau.
