Home Disaster Prevention Staff Training

About home disaster prevention worker training

In order to reduce the damage caused by large-scale disasters, the importance of community support along with the self support is becoming increasingly important.
Through home disaster prevention staff training, we hope that you will acquire knowledge and skills to protect your home and deepen your understanding of the importance of community support, so that you can play an active role in disaster prevention activities in the community.

Fire prevention training	Residential fire prevention measures (fire prevention, fire extinguishing method)
Emergency training	Lifesaving procedures (cardiopulmonary resuscitation including AED), etc.
Earthquake training	Knowledge of earthquakes and how to respond
Wind and flood damage training	Knowledge of wind and flood damage and how to respond
Training on Disaster Maps	This is a training in which participants write various information on the map and consider disaster prevention measures.

6-language disaster prevention pamphlets

Languages are Chinese, Vietnamese, Cambodian, Spanish, English and Japanese. Izumi fire department has created a six-language disaster prevention brochure in cooperation with local volunteers and foreign residents to raise awareness of disaster prevention and disaster prevention among foreigners living in the city.
The content is "Preparing for large-scale earthquakes and fires" in easy-to-understand words centered on illustrations.
