It was founded in 1628 (1628). The title of the song, which has been inherited since the late Edo period, has been designated as a designated intangible folk cultural property in Kanagawa Prefecture.
On the precincts, there is a memorial tower of Yoshimori Wada, a famous warlord from the Kamakura period who made a great success in establishing the Shogunate.
