General contact for public-private partnerships SDGs Wakabadai Front
Wakabadai housing complex is the largest housing complex in Yokohama, with about 6,300 units in the 1950s.
In this project, Asahi Ward, the Kanagawa Prefectural Housing Supply Corporation, and the Wakabadai Community Development Center are working together to recruit new companies and universities to participate in community-based community-based community-based community-building to expand partnerships to enhance local appeal and solve issues. We look forward to hearing from you in this project. All proposals will be communicated to local stakeholders.
In housing complex, where the aging rate exceeds 50%, we have invited a demonstration test of on-demand buses that can be reserved with smartphones to respond to the rapid increase in re-delivery of courier services, which has become a nationwide issue. In addition, we will inform you of related news of cooperating companies and partners on Twitter etc. at any time.

University students are based on the concept of "Let's make Sakonyama hometown."
The Sakonyama housing complex consists of approximately 5,300 housing complex units, including detached houses developed in the 1940s.
This project is supported by Asahi Ward, Yokohama National University and the UR Urban Organization, and is an initiative in which local communities work together.
University students live in housing complex and work with the Neighborhood Association and the Store Association to organize events organized by students themselves, such as beer gardens and lunch events, to revitalize the local community. All Sakonyama, an NPO that supports students, was established mainly by the Neighborhood Association and the Store Association, and is engaged in welfare activities for many generations based on the community cafe "Hot Sakonyama".
Until now, we have been operating this project with the support of Asahi Ward and the UR Urban Organization, but we will secure funds through the Yokohama Dream Fund and become independent from FY2021. We look forward to those who participate and support the business in various ways.
We will inform you of related news of cooperating companies and partners on Twitter etc. at any time.

Route bus self-driving project x SDGs
Yokohama City, Sotetsu Bus Co., Ltd., Gunma University, and Japan Mobility Co., Ltd. are promoting the “Route Bus Autonomous Driving Project” with the aim of realizing sustainable mobility services through autonomous driving technology.
As part of this project, in October 2020, in Asahi Ward, Japan's first demonstration test of autonomous driving by remote monitoring and operation was conducted.
Going forward, we will continue to take on the challenge of creating a town where people can continue to live through cooperation between industry, government and academia.
Companies x Regions x SDGs
Companies, regions, and governments are working together to realize "hometown Asahi, which continues to be chosen by many people."
Promotion of distribution in vacant houses
The Futamatagawa Branch of Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Bank, Ltd., proposed the SDGs as part of its efforts to contribute to the local community, and concluded a partnership agreement to promote the distribution of vacant houses in Asahi Ward.
With the cooperation of Neighborhood Association and Neighborhood Associations, the Asahi Ward Office will work together with Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Bank, which has know-how on inheritance, real estate distribution and effective use, so that it can lead to distribution at an early stage before becoming an unmanaged vacant houses.
Partnership
Improving the appeal of the park
As part of the SDGs' contribution to the local community, NPO Hama no Todai proposed an initiative to connect Yokohama City with the aim of enhancing the appeal of the block parks in Asahi Ward.
With "Nakaomachi Kagayaki Park", which is scheduled to open in late March 2025, as a field, we will empirically promote the creation of attractiveness utilizing the park with local residents.

Eco-Activities x SDGs
Have fun at home! Practical Lecture
Eco bag made with folding umbrellas
Depending on the color and pattern of the umbrella, it can be used as a colorful bag.
Practical lectures are eco-lectures for inhabitants of a ward where representatives of "Sustainable Asahi" serve as lecturers.
In order to have many inhabitants of a ward take an interest in living that contributes to global warming countermeasures, we introduce them in initiatives such as power saving and energy saving that can be enjoyed at home!
