As a result of healthcare system reform, the basic Health Checkups (physical checkup implemented by the ward office) ended in 2007.
From April 2008 onwards, medical insurers (National Health Insurance Association, employee health insurance, Seafarers' Insurance, Mutual Aid Association) arephysical checkup once a year.
Please contact each contact person for details on the implementation method, details, etc.
In addition, those who are undergoing treatment in lifestyle-related diseases or those who are in nursing homes that apply to The Long-term Care Insurance may not be eligible.
Please bring your required documents and make a reservation directly with the medical institution.

Note 1 The target persons who remain in China are those who meet all of the following conditions and their spouses.

C. Those who have had Address in Japan for at least one year from the date of return to permanent residence
D. Those who returned to Japan permanently for the first time after April 1, 1961
Note 2 The target person of the medical system for the elderly is a person who falls under any of the following.
Oh, 75 years or older (from 75th birthday)
(A) Those who are 65 years old or older and under 75 years old and have been certified by the Wide Area Union as having a certain degree of disability (from the date of certification)
If you are under 40 and would like to receive physical checkup, please contact your local medical institution. You will be responsible for the entire amount.

If you need to issue a physical checkup medical certificate to go to school or find employment, please contact your local medical institution first.

Until the day before your 75th birthday, you can take a specific medical checkup (free of charge) of the National Health Insurance. However, since procedures are required in advance, please contact the ward office Insurance and Pension Division National Health Insurance Section.
In addition, after your 75th birthday, you can consult at Health Checkups, Yokohama City (free of charge).
