Tooth and Mouth Health Week (co-hosted by the Asahi Ward Dental Association and the Asahi Ward Pharmacists Association)

From June 4 to June 10, 2024 is "Tooth and Mouth Health Week". In Asahi Ward, the Asahi Ward Dental Association provides free consultation on Dentistry and free medicine consultation by the Asahi Ward Pharmacists Association on the following schedule.

Exhibition space on the 1st floor of the Asahi Ward Office

Dental Association: Free consultation on Dentistry, distribution of samples and pamphlets, consultation on visiting Dentistry
Pharmacists Association: Free medicine consultation, blood vessel age measurement, skin age measurement, bone density measurement

Asahi Ward 8020 Good Tooth Competition for the Elderly (hosted by the Asahi Ward Dental Association)

In order to maintain the 8020 (Hachimarunimaru) exercise, a contest will be held for those aged 75 and over who have more than 20 healthy teeth.

The "8020 exercise" is an exercise that allows you to keep at least 20 teeth even at the age of 80. In 1989, it was proposed by the Ministry of Health and Welfare (currently the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare) and the Japan Dental Association, calling on local governments, various organizations, companies, and the people widely.

Application Guidelines and Conditions for Participation

１．Those who live in Asahi Ward
２．Those who are 75 years old or older on the date of the contest (June 13, 2024)
３．Those who have more than 20 teeth
※Those who participated in Reiwa 4.5 are not eligible.
※Self-recommendation and other recommendations do not matter.

Primary screening

The primary screening for fiscal 2024 has been completed.

Contest

The award ceremony will be held.
Those who participate will be notified directly before the event.
