Aoba Food Drive Operation (finished)
"Aoba Food Drive Daisakusen" will be held. During the period, food drives will be accepted at the district center in the city. Why don't you take this opportunity to stop at your local district center and cooperate with a food drive? (*Currently closed.)

Results of implementation
We donated 305 items (97.5 kg), including retort foods, instant meals and beverages, to the Aoba Ward Japan National Council of Social Welfare. Thank you very much for your cooperation!

What is a food drive?
Food drive is an activity to bring unused foods that cannot be used up in each household and collectively donate them to food bank organizations and local welfare facilities and organizations, and is one of the efforts to reduce food loss. .
Foods provided during the Aoba Food Drive Strategy will be donated mainly to those who need food and local welfare organizations through the Aoba Ward Japan National Council of Social Welfare.

Unopened (the interior is not damaged) and can be stored at room temperature with a shelf life of 2 months or more (specified required)

- Canned food (meat, fish, fruit, etc.)
- Instant retort food (curry roux, cup noodles, etc.)
- Sweets (chocolate, cookies, rice crackers, etc.)
- Seasonings (edible oil, sugar, salt, mirin, cooking sake, etc.)
- Dry items (somen, pasta, seaweed, etc.)
- Drinks (juice, tea, water, etc.)
Foods that cannot be accepted
- Those whose expiration date is less than 2 months
- Those that have been opened
- Frozen or refrigerated storage
- Fresh food (raw meat, seafood, raw vegetables)
- Alcohol
- Pet food
