Easy to use on smartphones
The household penetration rate of smartphones in Japan has reached about 90% (*), and the Yokohama City website also has access to smartphones about 1.5 times that of PCs. However, in the previous design, there were issues such as small information displayed on smartphones, making it difficult to see and tap.
Therefore, in order to improve the convenience of citizens, we have renewed our mobile-first design with an emphasis on the operability of smartphones.

Points of renewal
１. Pages that are easy to read and read on smartphones
- Large display of top image
- Make the text on the page easy to read.
２. Design conscious of taps and scrolling
- The number of images increases, and it is easy to see by scrolling.
- Easy to tap on the button display
3.Improve searchability
- The upper hierarchy page displays not only text but also images.
- Access search at any time
Review of Information Classification
In order to make it easier to find information related to life, the conventional "living / general" is divided into four items: "disaster prevention / emergency", "living / procedure", "child care / education", and "health / medical / welfare", and from the top page I made it easier to find it. In addition, this improvement is being implemented on the ward site as well.
