In July 1997, the Tsuzuki Residents' Song Production Committee was launched with the aim of creating a song that allows the residents to feel Tsuzuki Ward   as "hometown" and sing together. .
When the committee solicited songs, about 50 songs were submitted, and two songs were decided as songs by Tsuzuki inhabitants, "Tsuzuki Ondo" and "Yume no Tsuzuki".
