Flower of Tsuzuki Ward  

In commemoration of the 15th anniversary of the Tsuzuki constituency system, primroses were selected as flowers of Tsuzuki Ward   by residents' votes.

• Primrose (perennial plant belonging to the genus Primrose)

"Primrose" is not an individual variety, but a generic name.

Primroses are perennial plants, but are vulnerable to hot and humid in Japan, and often die after flowers bloom, so they treat them in the same way as annual plants.

To the south of Angel, the core city of the Loire region of France, there is a town called Orbinier Sur Rayon (A.S.L), known for its precious wine and rose gardens. In the past, residents of the town and Tsuzuki Ward   have been interacting with each other, including the introduction of Tsuzuki Ward   and the introduction of Japanese culture at the A.S.L Harvest Festival. One day, Jack & Christoph Travel, who runs a rose garden near A.S.L, knew this exchange and suggested to Mayor A.S.L whether to name a new rose with the name of Tsuzuki Ward  , and that rose was named "Rosa Continue."

It is a double-flowered rose with glossy pale pink petals, and beautiful flowers bloom from spring to autumn.
