"Let's play in the forest" was held!
"Let's play in the forest" will be held at Kawawa Shimin-no-Mori on Sunday, November 13 with the aim of deepening children's understanding of nature and the environment by experiencing nature while playing. .
Shimin-no-Mori is a system that preserves Yokohama City's unique green space, protects and nurtures greenery, and uses it as a place for citizens to relax with the cooperation of forest owners. The members of the protection society clean, mowing and patrols, etc., and keep it in a beautiful forest.
On the day of the event, after stepping on the acorn directly with their feet, hiding and digging up the acorns as if they were squirrels, we collected various types of fallen leaves and tried to make stained glass.
Participants said, "It was fun to interact with nature." "I did not know that there was such a rich nature nearby." We received impressions such as "I want to come to Shimin-no-Mori."
In Tsuzuki Ward there are Shimin-no-Mori in Kawawa and Ikebe. Please visit Shimin-no-Mori to feel nature with your five senses.
