Invited Ambassador to Japan Morake, the Republic of Botswana, to conduct an international understanding class!

　On Friday, June 24, Ambassador to Japan, Hoziréene Morake, the Republic of Botswana, was invited to Chigasaki Elementary School to conduct an international understanding class.
　The exchange between Tsuzuki Ward   Chigasaki Elementary School and the Republic of Botswana began in 2008 following the Fourth Tokyo International Conference on African Development in Yokohama, and continues to this day.
　When the ambassador entered, the third grader elementary school studenｔ (160 people) greeted him with Botswana national anthem and recorder performances, and applause was sent from members of the embassy.
　After the ale from Director General, the children received lectures on Botswana from Ambassador Morake and Secretary Cateho. He listened eagerly, took notes, and answered cheerfully that he had thrown.
　Thanks to the lecture, the origami work created for each class was presented, and the ambassador gave a bracelet using a Botswana flag pattern fan and a botswana cloth, and the children were shining.
　The children are now working on making pictures to be sent to Ben Tema Elementary School in Botswana. The Tsuzuki Botswana Exchange Children's Art Exhibition, which allows visitors to appreciate pictures drawn by elementary school studenｔ in both countries, will be held in the Republic of Botswana in November and in Yokohama from December to March.
