Tsuzuki Ward   Dementia Forum was held on September 10!

　On September 10, the 14th Tsuzuki Ward   Dementia Forum was held in public hall Tsuzuki. This forum, organized by the Tsuzuki Ward   Dementia Support Liaison Committee and the Tsuzuki Ward   Office, has been held every year since 2009. This year's theme is "Learn!　How to deal with dementia. Dr. Eiyuki Ishii, Deputy Director of Fureai Tsurumi Hospital, was invited as a lecturer, and 172 people participated in the venue and online.
　In the first part, they talked about the basic knowledge of dementia and forgetful outpatients in an easy-to-understand and polite manner, with the stories of the teacher's family. In the second part, we asked about specific initiatives, examples of those who are using it, and the thoughts of the teacher about "Orange Cafe Tsurumi", which the teacher is working on in the hospital. .
　At the end of the lecture, they answered questions that were asked in advance. "What is a simple check for dementia?" Based on simple questions such as "How should I call out to get a test for dementia?", "I don't know how to interact with them because my parents' acknowledgement function declined due to COVID-19 and my parents became unstable, and I don't know how to treat them."
　Participants commented that it was easy to understand, that I was worried about, that the anxiety was slightly resolved when I welcomed my parents' care in the future, and that I think that the dementia cafe is a very good place. Was sent. In addition, many praise and appreciation were given to Professor Ishii's warm personality, the attitude and enthusiasm of snuggling with the patient.
