Waterfront protection society

In order to maintain a comfortable waterside environment, please cooperate with the cleaning activities of rivers and waterside facilities. There are many rivers flowing in the city, and there are many familiar waterside facilities such as brook amenities and the murmuring green road. Beautiful rivers and waterfronts give our hearts moisture and peace.

The waterside protection society system is a local group (waterside protection society) that performs voluntary and daily cleaning activities so that the environment of rivers and waterside facilities is good, and citizens can interact comfortably and get acquainted with each other. On the other hand, Yokohama City subsidizes a part of the activity expenses and supports it.
Three organizations (as of January 1, 2016) are active in Tsuzuki Ward  .

Create a group of 5 or more, mainly for everyone around the river and waterside facilities, submit a notification of the formation of a protection society to the ward office Regional Promotion Division, and take the prescribed procedures.

Please work for waterfront facilities such as rivers managed by Yokohama City and Ogawa amenities and murmuring green paths maintained by Yokohama City.

We conclude consignment contract with Yokohama-shi and perform cleaning activity (once a month cleaning, twice a year weeding twice a year). In addition, one of the activities is to have voluntary events held by utilizing waterside facilities.

Depending on the size of the activity, we will pay a commission of 60,000 yen to 150,000 yen per year in advance. At the end of the year's activities are completed (end of March), submit an activity report.
