Waterside Protection Association

In order to maintain a comfortable waterside environment, please cooperate in cleaning activities of rivers and waterside facilities. There are many rivers flowing in the city, and there are also many familiar waterside facilities such as Ogawa Amenity and Seseragi Green Road. Beautiful rivers and watersides give moisture and peace to our hearts.

The Waterside Protection Association system is a local group (Waterside Protection Association) that voluntarily and on a daily basis to maintain the environment of rivers and waterside facilities in good condition, and to allow citizens to interact comfortably and get close to each other. This is a system in which Yokohama City subsidizes and supports a part of the activity expenses.
There are three organizations (as of January 1, 2016) in Tsuzuki Ward  .

Create a group of five or more people, mainly those around rivers and waterside facilities, submit a notification of the formation of a protection society to the ward office Regional Promotion Division, and take the prescribed procedures.

We will work on rivers managed by Yokohama City and waterside facilities such as Ogawa Amenity and Seseragi Green Road maintained by Yokohama City.

We conclude a consignment contract with Yokohama City and perform cleaning activities for rivers and waterside facilities (once a month for cleaning, twice a year for weeding). One of the activities is to use waterside facilities to carry out voluntary events.

Depending on the scale of the activity, a commission fee of 60,000 yen to 150,000 yen per year will be paid in advance. At the end of the year's activities (end of March), submit an activity report.
