Aim-263 (Tsurumi) 1,000 kWh Challenge!
Last Updated November 19, 2024
In Yokohama City, the percentage of CO2 emitted from households is higher than the national average, and in terms of household emissions, electricity consumption is the most common.
Just a little change in action will help protect the future earth. Why don't you try to save electricity with everyone living in Tsurumi Ward and aim for "-263 (Tsurumi) 10,000 kilowatt hours"?

What is “-263 (Tsurumi) 10,000kWh”?
If all households in Tsurumi Ward (approximately 150,000 households) continue to implement the following initiatives for one month, the reduction in electricity consumption will be approximately -2.63 million kWh (*).
Compared to the amount of cedar CO2 absorbed, this is equivalent to the amount of cedar population forest absorbed by 1,463 hectares, and requires a forest of about 311 Tokyo Dome. (Calculated with reference to the Forestry Agency website (outside site))
※Total monthly energy savings through the following initiatives (17.53 kWh) x approximately 150,000 households = approximately 2.63 million kWh
Electric appliances | Activities | Monthly energy savings |
