- According to the Rabies Prevention Act, dog owners are allowed to receive rabies vaccination once a year.
- You are required to have a rabies vaccination vote.
- The fee for rabies vaccination voted is 550 yen.
- In case of loss, etc., the re-issuance fee is 340 yen.
- The color of the rabies vaccination vote changes to red, blue and yellow depending on the year.
- If you have registered your dog, you will receive a "rabies vaccination Notice (Sealed Letter)" around mid-March every year.
- When you receive the rabies vaccination, please do not separate the three series "rabies vaccination Certificate Grant Application Form" in the sealed letter.
Injection at a veterinary clinic
Animal hospital commissioned by Yokohama City
- After receiving rabies vaccination, you can receive a rabies vaccination vote at the veterinary clinic.
- Please refer to the list of veterinary hospitals commissioned by Yokohama City (homepage of Animal Protection Center).
Other veterinary hospitals
- Present your rabies vaccination certificate issued by the veterinary clinic at the Health Sanitation Division window (64th floor, 6th floor of Totsuka Ward Office) and receive the rabies vaccinationrabies vaccination Certificate.
Injection at the rabies vaccination meeting
- You can receive rabies vaccination at the meeting venue (every April) and receive a rabies vaccination vote.
