When keeping a dog or cat
A

When you keep a new dog.

  1. Registered dog (once in the life of the dog)
  2. Report that you have received rabies vaccination once a year (every year)

Two types of procedures are required.
Also, when keeping animals, consider that people who are not good at animals or those who are unable to approach due to allergies live together in the community. Please fulfill the owner's responsibilities, such as cleaning up and contraception.

How do I register my dog and rabies vaccination?
A

Registration of a dog only once when you start keeping the dog. At the window of the ward office, you will need to list the type and gender of the dog, the owner's name and Address, etc., and hand the dog dog's license tag and gate seal. The registration fee is 3,000 yen.
※If there is a change in the content of the notification at the time of registration, such as when Address changes due to moving, please proceed with the change each time. Please contact us for details, as you may be able to do it over the phone or you may need to write documents at the counter.
Your dog must be given a rabies vaccination once a year (between April and June) and notify them that they have been injected.

※ Information on the collective injection site in April will be posted on the March issue of the Public Relations and the Tsuka Ward Version / Ward Office website, and information postcards will be sent to those who have registered their dogs by February (March) Will arrive by the end).

What should I do if my dog or cat disappears or protect my dog?
A

We accept inquiries about the disappearance of dogs and cats at Environmental Sanitation Section. We will inform you if there is any information that corresponds to the inquiry you receive. Please also notify Tozuka police department (Phone: 862-0110). If you are unable to keep your protected dog, please let us know when you contact Environmental Sanitation Section.

When I can't keep a dog or cat
A

Try as much as possible as the owner's responsibility and look for the next owner. In case of unavoidable circumstances, please contact us.
※There is no administrative department that can be consulted on the collection of animals other than dogs and cats. It is the owner's responsibility to find a pick-up destination.
Discarding dogs and cats can cause inconvenience to local residents, proper owners, natural ecosystems and various other things, violate the spirit of animal welfare, and is prohibited by law.

Please contact the Resources and Waste Recycling Bureau Tozuka office. I'll ask you to collect it.
