In the event of a storm or flood, evacuation information (evacuation of elderly people, evacuation warning) is issued to areas where disasters may occur, such as landslides and floods. We will select and open elementary and junior high schools and district centers close to the area as evacuation sites. About establishment, administration, ward office staff performs.

If an earthquake with a seismic intensity of 5 or more occurs in the city, 35 evacuation centers (evacuation shelter) will be opened in the city.
The opening and operation will be carried out by the evacuation shelter Steering Committee, which is led by local people.

Depending on the size and circumstances of the large typhoon, we will not open all evacuation sitess in the ward to determine where evacuation information (evacuation of elderly people, evacuation warning) will be issued and the evacuation sites to be opened. The evacuation sites to be opened will be selected based on the assumption of damage and will be announced in advance on the city / ward website.

Evacuation information (evacuation of elderly people, evacuation warning) will be issued to areas near rivers (Nasegawa, Maioka, Akuwa, Hirato Nagatanikawa, Kashio River, Udagawa, Sakaigawa), and nearby elementary and junior high schools and district centers will be opened as evacuation sites. Evacuation with pets

When evacuating with your pet to evacuation sites, which is established by the government, be aware of the following:
・There is no stockpile of pets in evacuation sites. Please bring necessary items such as cages, hoods, pet sheets, medicine, etc.
・Large animals, dangerous animals, special animals, or animals that require a dedicated breeding facility cannot be accepted.
・Pets cannot be placed in gymnasiums where evacuees are located. Pets must be managed in a cage at the designated location.

If you have a pet, consider using a pet hotel or evacuating to relatives or acquaintances' homes in advance.
