※For details of water quality evaluation, please see the biological index (PDF: 658KB) for water quality evaluation. The waterside of Futatsu Bridge corresponds to the source-up basin, so the index of the source-up basin is used.
※Since the habitat (water quality class) has a wide range of index species to some extent, the water quality class where two or more index species have been confirmed is used as the water quality evaluation value at that point. From this result, it was found that the waterside of Futatsu Bridge is a "very beautiful" river.

Voices from the participants

  • I found that there are many fish in the Izumi River.
  • The river was cold and cleaner than I thought
  • It was meaningful to be able to observe living things in a familiar place, etc.

We invited Seya Environmental Net, an environmental activity group in Seya Ward, as lecturers to observe birds using binoculars while walking along the way from the waterside of Teranowaki to Yusuichi Miyazawa. The day was blessed with good weather and I was able to see many kinds of birds.
