About Street Trees (Seya Ward)

・ Seya Public Works Office maintains street trees, such as pruning and cutting trees.
・ We conduct street tree diagnosis by a specialist tree physician, and plant trees on dangerous tree species that are likely to fall, and that correspond to emergency transportation routes.　
　 We carry out systematic diagnosis about street tree which is doing.
・ In the diagnosis of street trees, mushrooms that decay the roots have been observed, and trees with a high cavity rate inside the trees are required to prevent falling trees.
　 We are cutting down.

・ Somei Yoshino is vulnerable to illness, and the risk of falling trees increases over the years, so the Somei Yoshino on the Navy Road and Nokai Road.　
　 Every year, we conduct street tree diagnosis and strive for proper maintenance.

・ Pruned branches and felled trees generated during the maintenance of street trees are brought to green recycling plants as much as possible to compost.
　 We are promoting the recycling of products.

・ We want local people to feel closer to the recycling of street trees, we use wood chips and firewood made of felled street trees.
