Sakae Ward Youth Instructor Council

The mayor commissions the youth instructor based on recommendations from Neighborhood Association, Neighborhood Associations, etc., in order to promote youth voluntary activities and their upbringing activities, and to promote youth healthy development throughout the region. The term of office is two years, and the 28th term is from Reiwa 4 to 5 years.

Currently, 96 people are active as youth instructors in seven districts in Sakae Ward.

In addition to night patrols and social environment surveys conducted by youth instructors in Yokohama, the Sakae Ward Youth Instructors Council conduct various activities in each district.

In addition, the SAKAE Young Festival is held in March every year in front of Hongodai Station, a junior high school in Sakae Ward and a blue finger in seven districts.

It is a public relations magazine of the Sakae Ward Youth Instructors Council issued twice a year ("Blue finger").
