Sakae Ward Disaster Assistance Support Project

Some people have difficulty evacuating on their own when a disaster such as a major earthquake occurs (persons requiring assistance during a disaster). In the event of a disaster, not only to protect yourself (self support), but also to build relationships with the local community on a daily basis is a great disaster prevention capability, leading to helping each other in the community (community support). Through voluntary local initiatives during normal times, we are promoting support for local initiatives such as safety confirmation and evacuation support in the event of a disaster.
