Sakae Ward Disaster Relief Support Project
When a disaster such as a major earthquake occurs, there are people who have difficulty evacuating on their own (persons requiring assistance in the event of a disaster). In the event of a disaster, not only protecting yourself (self support) but also building relationships on a daily basis can help each other in the event of an emergency (community support). Through voluntary efforts in the region from normal times, we are supporting local initiatives so that activities such as safety confirmation and evacuation support can be carried out in the event of a disaster.
