About local evacuation centers

In Sakae Ward, evacuation sites, which plays a role between the evacuation sites and evacuation shelter, has selected regional shelters for each Neighborhood Association Neighborhood Associations.
Community shelters are places to evacuate in the early stages of a small disaster or the beginning of the disaster. It also serves as an information center for Neighborhood Association Neighborhood Associations andsafety confirmation.

Sakae Ward is making efforts to select regional shelters.
We hold disaster prevention opinion exchange meeting according to district from June to July, 2014 and request Neighborhood Association, neighborhood chairpersons to select local evacuation center.
