Evacuation with pets
Evacuation with pets means evacuating to evacuation sites with pets in the event of a disaster.
Preparation for a day
Since it is extremely difficult to find temporary custody after a disaster occurs, consider and prepare for various evacuation actions such as (1) vertical evacuation to safe places and horizontal evacuation, (2) breeding at temporary custody, and (3) evacuation to evacuation sites.
2 Points to note when evacuating with you
evacuation sites is used by people who are not good at animals or those who are allergic to animals. When breeding and managing the accompanying pets, observe the following rules in evacuation sites:
・- evacuation sites has no stockpile of pets. Please bring all necessary items such as cages, food, pet sheets, medicine, etc.
・∎ Be sure to keep your pet in a cage at the designated temporary breeding area. In evacuation sites, people and pets are separate evacuation lives, and pets cannot be brought into space where evacuees are located.
・ In order to reduce the burden on pets, consider using pet hotels and evacuation to relatives and acquaintances' homes in advance.
Pets that can be accepted in evacuation sites are dogs, cats, and other small animals (small birds, rabbits, hamsters, etc.). Specific animals (dangerous animals), animals designated as specific aliens and similar animals, large animals and animals requiring special breeding facilities cannot be accepted in evacuation sites for safety management.
