About the implementation of J Alert (National Instant Warning System) transmission test broadcast from disaster prevention speakers in 2023
In preparation for disasters such as earthquakes and tsunami, we will conduct a J Alert (national instantaneous warning system) information transmission test from disaster prevention speakers. J Alert is a system that instantly transmits emergency information such as Earthquake Early Warning, tsunami information, and armed attacks from the country through artificial satellites.

It has been canceled nationwide.
The second time Wednesday, September 20, 2023, around 11:00 am
Only the second time, we performed a test broadcast of disaster prevention speakers by Motoichi from 11:10 every year.
(Note) The schedule was postponed for the second test (August 23), which was postponed nationwide due to the situation in North Korea.
The third time Wednesday, November 15, 2023 around 11:00 am
4th Around 11:00 am on Friday, February 9, 2024
When we cancel test broadcast by disasters, we will tell on homepages of Yokohama-shi disaster prevention speaker.
