Tutor Overview

Mr. Taiji Tamura
(Chairman of Nishi Ward Local History Study Group) 

Born in Yokohama in 1936, lives in Nishi Ward.
After graduating from Kokugakuin University, he got a teaching job in Yokohama, worked as a junior high school social studies teacher for many years, and retired after working as a principal.
He has been pursuing local history for many years since he was a teacher, and has written many books such as "History of Yokohama Nishi Ward" and "Graphic West: Nishi Ward's Past and Present with Eyes".
Currently, he is also a lecturer at Yokohama City Senior University, chairman of the Nishi Ward Local History Study Group, and chairman of the Yokohama City Junior High School Social Studies Association. He is a leading expert in history research in Yokohama. My hobby is photography.

Mr. Daiki Saito
(Kanagawa Shimbun)

Reporter of Kanagawa Shimbun.
After joining the company in 2004, he was in charge of the Sagamihara General Bureau, the Ministry of Economy, and the Kawasaki General Bureau.
He has been in the Ministry of Culture for 14 years and has been in charge of planning utilizing archives (recorded materials) for many years, such as discovering and introducing old articles and news photos. He also specializes in the topic of the past and present of railways.
Kanagawa University, Kanto Gakuin University, Yokosuka City Lifelong Learning Foundation, etc. have held several courses on the theme of regional history and railways.

Hiroaki Nishimura
Kiyoken Co., Ltd.

Joined the company in 2001. Kiyoken, 22 years old.
Since 2007, he has served as General Manager of the Public Relations and Marketing Department, and currently serves as General Manager of the Overseas Business Office. He has been at the forefront of public relations for Kiyoken for a long time and knows Kiyoken thoroughly.
Even now, he has launched public relations in cooperation with the local community, such as conducting collaboration projects with sports clubs and schools in Yokohama City.
