What is a youth instructor?
The mayor commissions the youth instructor based on recommendations from Neighborhood Association, Neighborhood Associations, etc., in order to promote youth voluntary activities and their development organization activities, and to promote youth healthy development throughout the region. People who have a passion for understanding of youth and the healthy development of young people, and those who take the initiative in cooperation with local youth instructors and related organizations and organizations to create a better local environment for young people.
The term of office is two years, and this term is until the end of FY2023. Currently, 81 young people are active in Nishi Ward. (As of October 1, 2022)

Paper Hikoki Tournament
Compete for flight time of self-made paper Hikoki made from designated pattern paper. The top players who have won the qualifying held in each district can participate in the final round. Paper Hikoki mounts are available at the 48th floor on the 4th floor of Nishi Ward Office.
