Event Overview

The Nishi Ward Insect Listening to the Sound of Insects is a traditional festival in Nishi Ward where you can enjoy outdoor tea ceremonies and koto and shakuhachi performances.
On the day of the event, all lights and handmade bonbonbori will be lit at Mt. Kamonyama Park at the venue. This year, in commemoration of the 80th anniversary of the Nishi Ward system, a gun squadron will be invited from Hikone City, where we have been interacting for many years.
Please experience the traditional Japanese culture and spend an emotional summer evening.
