About The Long-term Care Insurance Subscribers

Those who are 40 years old or older and have a Address in Yokohama will join The Long-term Care Insurance in Yokohama.
Depending on age, it is divided into those aged 65 and over (first insured) and those who have medical insurance between the ages of 40 and 64 (second insured).

65 years old or older

Become the first insured person, regardless of the cause of illness or injury, if you need nursing care in your daily life, you can use the nursing care service after certification for long-term care.
The long-term care insurance card is issued to everyone and sent before the 65th birthday.

40 to 64 years old or older

Only if you become the second insured person and need nursing care due to a specific illness (*), you can use the nursing care service after certification for long-term care.
The long-term care insurance card is issued to those who have been certified as requiring nursing care and support and those who wish.

1.Terminal cancer
2.Rheumatoid arthritis
3.Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis
4.Backtravertical ligament osteosphosis
5.Osteoporosis with fractures
6.Dementia in the Old Age
7.Progressive nuclear paralysis, cerebral cortical basal nucleus degeneration and Parkinson's disease
8.Spinal cord cerebellar degeneration
9.Vertebral canal stenosis
10.Premature senile
11.Multi-system Atrophy
12.Diabetic neuropathy, diabetic nephropathy and diabetic retinopathy
13.Cerebrovascular disease
14.Obstructive arteriosclerosis
15.Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease
16.Osteoarthritis with significant deformation in both knee joints or hip joints
