Flow of Revision

In April 2004, the Yokohama City Planning Master Plan Minami Ward Plan, Minami Ward Town Development inMinami Ward, was formulated as a "town where people's emotions and functions have matured together."

During the next 10 years, various facilities such as the construction of community care plazas, district centers, parks, and relocation of general government buildings, have been maintained, and town development is progressing.

On the other hand, the population is expected to decline, and the social situation is changing from the time of formulation, such as the population is expected to decline, and the population is aging further. The city planning master plan pertaining to the entire city of Yokohama was revised in March 2013 as the "Yokohama City City Planning Master Plan Overall Design", and since then, each ward plan has been revised sequentially.

In response to this, the Minami Ward Plan was revised.

We prepared the Minami Ward Plan (established in February 2019) based on opinions on the revised draft of the Minami Ward Plan received in 2018.
