Flow of Revision

In April 2004, Minami Ward formulated the Minami Ward Plan for Urban Planning Master Plan, “Minami Ward Town Development,” which shows the basic policies of urban development.

Over the next 10 years, various facilities such as the construction of community care plazas, district centers, parks, and the relocation of general government buildings have been maintained, and town development is progressing. .

On the other hand, the social situation is changing from the time of formulation, as the population is expected to decline and the population is aging further. The city planning master plan pertaining to the entire Yokohama City was revised in March 2013 as the "Yokohama City City Planning Master Plan Overall Design", and since then, each ward plan has been revised sequentially.

In response to this, we revised the Minami Ward Plan.

The Minami Ward Plan (developed in February 2019) was created with reference to comments on the revised draft of the Minami Ward Plan received in 2018.
