Minami Ward Building Agreement

Depending on the characteristics of each area, the specific rules of how to build a building, such as the use and height of the building, are determined by the agreement of all the local people, and the mayor approves it.

As a result, it is possible to define the rules of the town, such as "mainly detached houses", "the height of the building is up to 10m", "let's subdivision of the site", and "do not approach the building to the neighboring land".

The rules will be followed by the Local Building Agreement Steering Committee. The expiration date is optional (generally 10 years).

Building agreements have been signed in Minami Ward in five districts.

• Buildings in the district shall be single-family homes and exclusive housing (only applicable blocks)
• The maximum height of the building shall be 10m and the height of the eaves shall be 7m or less.
• The number of floors excluding the basement shall be 2 or less
• Each plot has a minimum area of 150 square meters.
