Recruitment Guide

1. Job description

Major duties are as follows:
(1)Management inside and outside the government building
(2)Reception communication of petition, report, etc. from citizens
(3)Communication to persons involved in emergencies
(4)Other matters specified by Director Public Works Office Green
※In addition, disaster response operations in the event of a large-scale disaster
(Basically an auxiliary work, only during working hours)

2 Eligibility

(1)Those who are 18 years old or older as of April 1, 2025
(2)Being able to respond to counters and telephone calls
(3)Do not fall under the disqualification grounds for recruitment stipulated in Article 16, etc. of the Local Public Service Act.

4 Working conditions and compensation

(1)Appointment period
From April 1, 2025 to March 31, 2026
※If a job with the same job content is set up after the expiration of the above appointment period, and if the results of the proof of competence are good, it may be re-appointed regardless of public offering. (up to 4 times)
(2)Working hours, etc.
One person system (in the case of direct work, it will continue to work night shift).

  • Night shift work: From 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 a.m. the next day
  • Direct work: From 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on weekends and holidays and closed days

Rotation system consisting of two fiscal year appointment staff

¥271,500 per month
Payment of end-of-term, diligence allowance and commuting expenses (equivalent to actual expenses) separately
※The amount of compensation is the estimated amount as of November 2024. The amount is subject to change due to the revision of the system.
(6)Vacation
Annual leave, summer vacation, etc. (as per the rules on working hours, vacations, etc. of Yokohama City Fiscal Year Appointment Staff)
(7)Social insurance
Joined employment insurance, Employees' Pension Insurance and employee health insurance (Yokohama City Staff Mutual Aid Association)
(8)Others
Working conditions are based on related regulations such as the regulations about salary and expense compensation of staff appointed in Yokohama-shi fiscal year.

6 Selection method and schedule

After the primary selection, the second selection will be conducted for successful applicants. The results of the primary and secondary selection will be notified in writing regardless of pass or fail.

(2)Secondary selection
Selection method: Interview
Scheduled date: Scheduled for Monday, December 23, 2024
Notification of pass/fail result: Scheduled to be mailed from late January 2025

7 At the time of employment physical checkup

You will be asked to visit physical checkup in Yokohama when you hire.
