Last Updated August 5, 2021

Security light

In addition to security lights and road lighting on main roads, there are also lights in parks and shopping streets, and various organizations and organizations maintain and manage them.

Types and Management of Security Lights

Yokohama City has installed security lights based on applications from the Neighborhood Association to ensure the safety of pedestrian traffic at night and prevent crime.
Most of the security lights currently installed are LED security lights attached to telephone poles, but in places without telephone poles, metal poles are equipped with LED security lights, and these are managed by the Neighborhood Association.
