Hygiene management of receiving tanks
Last Updated October 9, 2024
Many buildings, such as buildings and condominiums, receive water supplied by the Water Works Bureau once in a receiving tank and supply it to users.
From the receiving tank to the faucet of the user, the building owner (manager) must manage it responsibly.
Necessary management includes notification to Health and Welfare Center, annual cleaning of water tanks, and periodic inspection of management status, as well as simple inspection of color, turbidity, smell and taste, and inspection of facilities.
If you have any problems with these, please contact Health and Welfare Center immediately.
About hygiene management of receiving tank, please see page of Yokohama-shi public health center in detail.
