Hygiene management of water receiving tanks
Last Updated October 8, 2021
Many buildings, such as buildings and condominiums, receive water supplied by the Water Supply Bureau once in the water receiving tank and supplying them to users.
The building owner (manager) must be managed responsibly from the receiving tank to the user's faucet.
Necessary management includes "notification to Health and Welfare Center", "cleaning the water tank once a year", "periodic inspection of management status", etc., simple inspection of color, turbidity, smell, taste, and inspection of facilities. It is important that the owner (manager) take responsibility.
If you have any problems with these, please contact Health and Welfare Center immediately.
For details on hygiene management of water receiving tanks, please see the Yokohama City Public Health Center page.
