Midori Ward has a desire to preserve greenery beautifully, as its name suggests, has a lot of greenery, and a total of five Shimin-no-Mori and contact forests are open to the public.
Please enjoy walking in the forest while keeping field manners to maintain your health and change your mind.

Welcome center

At five welcome centers in the city, we provide information on forest creatures, provide nature experience events, and provide opportunities for environmental learning, etc., and create opportunities for forests.
One of them, the Niiharu Satoyama Exchange Center, is located in Shinji Riyama Park, where facilities such as Shinji Shimin-no-Mori and the former Okutsu House. We hold panel displays of Shinji's nature and satoyama culture, observation sessions, and satoyama experience classes.

Field manners (request for use)

When you come to the forest, please follow the manners and enjoy strolling.
The only thing I can take is a picture. Collect native plants and organisms and do not take them home.

  • Do not bring plants and creatures from other places.
  • When you take a walk with your pet, please keep it connected.
  • Use time is from sunrise to sunset.
  • Don't litter, let's take the trash home.
  • Do not step off the road and step into places where entry is prohibited.
  • Fire and stoves are not allowed in the park.
  • Please note that there is no toilet.
