About park protection society

In managing a familiar park, which is a common "garden" of local people and a common property of citizens, not only Yokohama City, which has established the park, but also the active cooperation of local people is required . For this reason, we have formed a volunteer group led by local people for daily management and utilization such as cleaning and weeding of the park. This is the "Park Protection Association".

There are 150 nearby parks in Midori Ward, and almost the same number of park protection associations have been formed by local residents.
