Midorikko Festival

An event that can be enjoyed widely from babies to children before entering elementary school.
The event will be held in four areas of Midori Ward (Nagatsuta, Tokaichiba, Nakayama and Kamoi).
We have a program that everyone can enjoy, so please feel free to come and visit us.
The event also introduces information on nearby nursery schools.

The 2023 Midorikko Festival was held at Midori public hall from 10:00 to 12:00 on Saturday, November 18th.
Nursery teachers from childcare facilities in Midori Ward gathered to prepare for the day, and there were many fun projects such as storytelling, bill stamp corner, and Midlin Taiso dancing with Midlin. The event was full of smiles, with many visitors coming to the event.

On November 8, 2022, "Let's connect together! Under the title of Midorikko Festival-Midrin Taiso, we enjoyed Midori Ward's original gymnastics "Midrin Taiso" at parks and childcare facilities in the city at the same date and time, and made a video of the situation at each venue. Let's enjoy Midolin Taiso together.

I made Midori Ward's original gymnastics "Midrin Taiso". This gymnastics is done by hand by nursery teachers in the city from lyrics and incorporates movements that promote the development of children. At five locations in each area representing Midori Ward (Genkaida Park (Nagatsuta area), Niiharu Satoyama Park (Tokaichiba area), Shikinomori Park (Nakayama area), Kamoike Ohashi (Kamoi area), and Midori Ward government office), which were recruited from childcare facilities in the ward, we photographed how Midolin enjoy doing gymnastics. A video is posted on the official YouTube of Yokohama City. By all means, please try to move your body happily as a familiar exercise with your child.
