About application groups of 2024 Midori Ward child care support activity business subsidy
For the purpose of promoting child care support activities, a part of the expenses will be issued to support groups (groups) that provide child care support activities for preschool children and their parents.
※The implementation of this project will be finalized upon a resolution of the fiscal 2024 budget in Yokohama City Council.
Groups to be subsidized
It is a group that engages in exchange activities to support child-rearing, activities such as hand play, story-telling, puppet shows, children's songs, etc., and provides a place for parents and children. The group must meet all of the following conditions.
- It is mainly composed of Midori Ward residents and operated independently.
- Being active in a venue in Midori Ward.
- Continuous recruitment to the Midori Ward citizens without limiting the target audience. (It is not a mutual aid activity between acquaintances.)
- Not intended for politics, religion, or profit.
- Perform child care support activities to recruit participants at least 10 times during the period covered by the assistance period.
- The activity should not be conducted mainly by outside lecturers.
※From 2024, the condition that "participation fee is collected from participants" has been eliminated.

Expenses to be subsidized
This is the cost of the activity, which applies to the following.
- Venue fees and goods usage fees
- Printing costs for publicity flyers, posters, etc.
- Communication and transportation costs associated with activities that utilize the Internet
- Premiums that the group joins for child-rearing support activities.
- Material costs associated with activities (food costs associated with project implementation are acceptable.) However, food expenses for socializing between participants are not eligible. )
- Consumables for office use
- Rewards for collaborators other than members
※From fiscal 2024, some of the material costs of “foods associated with activities” have also been subsidized.

Subsidized amount
Up to two-thirds of the subsidized expenses, the upper limit is 50,000 yen.
The same group can apply for the same activity only three times (3 years).

From Monday, March 11, 2024 to Friday, March 29, 2024 (must arrive)
