About recruitment of application groups of 2024 Midori Ward child care support activity business subsidy

For the purpose of promoting child-rearing support activities, a part of the expenses will be issued to support groups (groups) that provide child-rearing support activities for preschool children and their parents.

※The implementation of this project will be finalized by the resolution of the 2024 budget in Yokohama City Council.

Groups to be subsidized

It is a group that conducts exchange activities to support child care, conducts activities such as hand play, story-telling, puppet shows, children's songs, etc., and provides a place for parents and children. The group must meet all of the following conditions:

  1. It is mainly composed of Midori Ward people and is operated independently.
  2. Being active at a venue in Midori Ward.
  3. It must be widely recruited to the Midori Ward people without limiting the target audience. (It is not a mutual aid activity between acquaintances.)
  4. Not intended for politics, religion, or profit.
  5. Perform child care support activities to recruit participants at least 10 times during the period covered by assistance.
  6. It must not be an activity mainly by an external lecturer.

※From 2024, the condition of "collecting participation fees from participants" has been eliminated.

Expenses to be subsidized

This is the cost of the activity, which applies to the following.

  1. Venue fees and usage fees for goods
  2. Printing costs for flyers and posters for public relations
  3. Transportation costs associated with shipping costs, Internet and other activities
  4. Premiums that the group joins for child-rearing support activities.
  5. Material costs associated with activities (food costs associated with project implementation are acceptable. However, food expenses for social gathering between participants are not eligible. )
  6. Cost of consumables for office work
  7. Rewards of collaborators other than members such as instructors

※From 2024, some of the material costs, “food items associated with activities” have also been subsidized.

Subsidized amount

Up to two-thirds of the subsidized expenses, up to 50,000 yen is the upper limit.
The same group can apply for the same activity up to three times (3 years).

Application period

From Monday, March 11, 2024 to Friday, March 29, 2024 (must arrive)

  1. Submission of application documents (March Friday, March 29, 2024)
  2. Interviews and Document Reviews (April 2024)
  3. Subsidy grant decision (April-May 2006)
  4. Project implementation (in FY2024)
  5. Submission of report documents (* Within 30 days from the date on which the subsidy project was completed)
