The first Midori Ward Community Welfare and Health Plan “Midori nowa Support Ai Plan” was formulated in two years from fiscal 2004 to fiscal 2005. We worked on the development while valuing the process of thinking and discussing together.

Development Committee

It is a meeting that examines the needs of inhabitants of a ward from various viewpoints and forms the plan.
It is composed of representatives of organizations, local representatives, public recruitment committee members, etc., and is responsible for organizing issues and planning while receiving advice from academic experts.

Holding of discussion meetings by district
Fiscal 2004 (from July to November 2004)
We held two exchange meetings in the Neighborhood Association area of each federation (11 districts) in order to achieve more familiar plans and link them to initiatives in the living area.
A total of 808 inhabitants of the ward participated and engaged in enthusiastic discussions.

Fiscal 2005 (September through October 2005)
We exchanged opinions on the report of the interim plan and the solution.
391 people participated in 11 districts, and lively discussions were held on future initiatives.

More than 30 groups and a total of more than 415 people, each field and group, share "problems in the field of welfare and health", "what kind of town you want to continue living", "what you can do for yourself" etc. Was.

Lectures (August 2004)

Midori Ward Social Welfare Conference Symposium (March 2005)
We held a symposium as a second part of the 2004 Social Welfare Convention to discuss the issues of community welfare and health activities in Midori Ward with residents of the city.
Call for Plan Nicknames (June 2005)
Nicknames were recruited on the "Public Relations Yokohama Midori Ward Edition" and on the website so that the "Midori Ward Community Welfare and Health Plan" can be easily nicknamed.
Inhabitant of a ward questionnaire conduct (October, 2005)
We conducted a mailing questionnaire to 3,000 people randomly selected from residents over the age of 20.
In addition, a similar questionnaire survey was conducted at the venue of the inhabitant of a ward festival to investigate the awareness and actual situation of the inhabitants of the ward regarding welfare and health.

We introduced contents of plan as the second part of social welfare meet in 2005 to have inhabitants of a ward understand this plan widely.
In addition, while exchanging opinions with the venue on how to proceed with this plan in the future, we introduced a video of examples that have already been practiced in the community.
We will continue to carry out various activities in order to promote the “Midori nowa / Support Ai Plan”.
