One of the largest disaster prevention events in Japan, "Disaster Prevention Promotion National Convention 2023" was held in Yokohama City, and we greeted him as the mayor of the venue.
This year marks the 100th anniversary of the Great Kanto Earthquake, and 390 organizations and companies from all over the country were exhibited. There were so many visitors, and I felt a high interest in disaster prevention.
Yokohama City will continue to work hard on disaster-resistant cities, community development, and human resource development, aiming to be a safe and secure city.
