"Yokohama English Quest" is an event in which multinational English speakers and Yokohama City Junior High School students form a team and clear their missions in English to discover and disseminate the charm of Yokohama while completing their mission in English.
At the opening ceremony, I also gave a greeting in English and talked about the importance of enjoying communication without fear of failure.
At the beginning of the event, it was impressive that the children who were nervous were happily communicating using gestures and English to achieve their mission.
Going forward, we will continue to promote education that fosters children who can play an active role globally, taking advantage of the goodness of the international city of Yokohama.
