We greeted the opening ceremony of the Yokohama Disaster Prevention Fair 2023 held in Akarengasoko for the first time in four years.
At the venue, with the cooperation of disaster prevention organizations such as the Fire Bureau, the Japan Coast Guard, the Kanagawa Prefectural Police and the Japanese Red Cross Society, we exhibited hands-on exhibits such as disaster-prevention vehicles and seismic vehicles.
Yokohama City will continue to work on disaster prevention measures in cooperation with related organizations in order to protect the lives of citizens.
We hope that citizens can check their daily preparations, such as stockpiling and prevention of furniture fall.
